My client is an established Estate Agency that is looking to employ a full-time Property Sales Consultant. This role is to be based at their Covid secure office in Low Fell, Gateshead but will also cover the North East territory. A pool car will be provided for use.


Role responsibilities:

  • Dealing with existing clients to generate sales as well as seeking new sales opportunities
  • Valuing properties and negotiating sales
  • Managing current landlord relationships, discussing annual performance and opportunities to either buy, sell or let their properties
  • Finding investment opportunities
  • Finding new landlords to add to the client portfolio
  • Managing the active pipeline of agreed sales within specific deadlines
  • Answering the phone to book up new appointments, taking enquiries and canvassing the database for prospective buyers.
  • Utilising the in-house Estate Agency CRM system
  • Calling warm leads received through the website for property sales and converting these into appointments and client acquisitions
  • Calling up cold leads that have shown an interest via social media with the aim of generating new business
  • Prospecting various websites to obtain investment deals
  • Weekly meetings with a company Director and Lettings & Sales Senior Manager
  • Any other ad hoc tasks as required


Essential requirements:

  • Experience within the property industry would be highly beneficial
  • A good understanding of yields and percentages
  • Must be self-motivated and able to work on your own initiative
  • Able to work well under pressure and manage multiple changing priorities
  • Strong sales background and experience working to sales targets
  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills
  • The ability to work under pressure
  • Good organisational and multi-tasking skills
  • IT literate
  • Full UK driving licence is essential

  • Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:30pm with a Saturday shift 9am to 2pm every other week (12pm finish on the Friday before)
