My client works with other businesses across the UK, helping them with their online presence. They are growing as a business, even through these current testing times, and are now looking to employ an experienced, confident IT sales professional. This is a hybrid role with a mixture of office and remote working.

 

Role responsibilities:

  • Prospecting for new clients through business development activity including B2B outbound cold calling, emails and social media
  • Nurturing and converting inbound sales leads
  • Researching a prospective new business and understanding their business needs for the product and service and selling to this
  • Consultative selling, not being pushy!
  • Remotely demonstrating the product and service and closing the sale
  • Offering bespoke packages according to clients’ objectives and budgets
  • Objective handling and overcoming any potential concerns
  • Meet potential clients by growing, maintaining, and leveraging your network
  • Exceeding sales targets
  • Present new products and services to existing clients, enhancing the business relationship. Up-selling and cross-selling
  • Work with technical staff and other internal colleagues to meet customer needs
  • Arrange and participate in internal and external client debriefs
  • Submit weekly progress reports to the Directors
  • Work alongside the marketing team to ensure sales and marketing are truly aligned
  • Provide feedback, ideas and leverage your social media network

 

Essential requirements:

  • Have at least 3 years’ experience selling web-based technology or IT related products
  • Experience selling SaaS cloud-based products would be highly desirable
  • ‘Hunter’ mentality with the ability to build key relationships with decision makers
  • Target driven with the ability to influence and sell. Must have a consultative sales approach
  • Have phenomenal presentation, organisation interpersonal and relationship building skills
  • Have a proven track record of hitting sales KPI’s
  • Organised and methodical with your approach to work and able to work on your own initiative without being micro-managed
  • Must be a motivated individual, enthusiastic and resilient character
  • Team player, reliable and responsible
  • Must be computer literate and able to pick up new software quickly
